About Townwide
Townwide answers the question a newcomer asks: who are the best-rated tradies in Geelong, the best-rated health practitioners in Hobart, the best-rated businesses in Ballarat full stop. Each list ranks every industry in a sector, or every business in a town, by the same published method.
Ratings and review counts come from Google Business Profiles and are refreshed on the first of each month.
Townwide ranks the businesses of each Australian town as one list, and each sector of it, by Google rating adjusted for how many reviews stand behind it.
Townwide is run by the Townwide team and has been published since 13 October 2026. It lists 104,453 businesses in 3,066 lists, with figures as of October 2026.
Ratings, review counts and opening hours come from Google Business Profiles. The year a business started, and the jobs it does, come from its own website.
